Christmas lasts longer for Celtic music fans thanks to the Celtic Christmas Podcast at http://www.celticchristmaspodcast.com. The podcast shares Celtic Christmas music and entertainment from many of the top Celtic podcasts online. It offers five new shows for 2012, including three shows created Exclusively for the podcast.

The Celtic Christmas Podcast was created in 2009 by Marc Gunn. It is a cooperative effort among Celtic podcasters. Each podcaster submits their latest Celtic Christmas show. Their show is then re-released into the Celtic Christmas Podcast feed and shared to thousands of listeners.

The Celtic Christmas Exclusive is the newest feature of 2012. Each thirty minute show plays music from a variety of Celtic artists from the traditional to the contemporary Celtic rock bands. It also includes facts about each artist to engage the listener even further.

The podcast is the brain-child of Marc Gunn. Gunn is known as The Celtfather for his overwhelming promotion and support of indie Celtic music groups. He is the host of the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast. This podcast won two awards for Best Podsafe Music in the Podcast Awards, the Grammy Awards for podcasting, in 2009 and 2010. It was nominated again in 2012 and is awaiting the final results. However, Gunn's Irish & Celtic Music Podcast is only one of ten Celtic podcasts shared in the feed. Other podcasts include: Celt in a Twist, Celtic Dreamtime Podscape, Celtic Roots Radio, Cleveland Celtic Podcast, Engaging Ireland Podcast, Irish Fireside, Paddy Rock Radio, Marc Gunn's Pub Songs Podcast, and Renaissance Festival Podcast. The last two are also produced by Gunn.

The final show of the season "airs" soon delivering the Celtic Christmas spirit with enthusiasm and heartfelt joy.
