This solution is perfect for our off site facilities and departments that lack the staff power to monitor a sign in and badging kiosk.

Vendormate introduced today a remote sign-in enhancement to its Credential Manager application that delivers greater efficiency to the appointment process between hospitals and their vendors. Through remote sign in, vendor representatives can assure they are pre-approved to visit hospital facilities, self-print their visitor badge and check in using an Apple® or Android™ device. As the No. 1 most requested feature among vendor representatives, implementing it is a win-win for both healthcare providers and those vendors who supply products and services to healthcare facilities.

Vendormate’s offer of remote sign-in capabilities to its 1,650 hospital partners has been met with enthusiasm, as it offers multi-facility healthcare organizations a way to better control access at several points of entry. Said John Cashmore, Director of Materials Management at SwedishAmerican Health System, "This solution is perfect for our off site facilities and departments that lack the staff power to monitor a sign in and badging kiosk." He continued, "This new technology encourages visiting representatives to self-print badges and sign in via Vendormate's mobile app and assures our commitment to patient care ‒ as we follow policies and business standards at every point of entry."

Increased focus on keeping patient care areas safe, coupled with ever-changing federal regulations, demand that healthcare organizations be both thorough and efficient when it comes to allowing vendors to visit. With these upgrades to Credential Manager, Vendormate continues to meet this demand and assert leadership – giving hospitals visibility into not only who they do business with, but who they allow to walk through their halls.

As Vendormate moves into its eighth year of operation, CEO Andy Monin reinforced this, stating “Innovation remains central to our core goal of solving the regulatory and operational issues that challenge healthcare provider-suppliers relationships each day." He continued, “These Credential Manager upgrades are in line with our ongoing efforts to drive efficiency to these relationships, as are new products in our solution portfolio to include Contract Manager and Medzo.”
