A new product introduced by sportsman and entrepreneur Tom Northam of Wisconsin, T-Bo’s Rugged Pack combines durable materials with a hands-free design. The waist pack can be used to hold and transport a variety of outdoor gear and is meant to be a multi-purpose accessory used for all types of activities in all types of weather.
Northam started developing the concept for T-Bo’s Rugged Pack over 20 years ago after going through pack after pack. He explained, “I wanted to create a carrying pack that would withstand the elements and get long-term mileage and hold a lot of stuff. I was tired of dealing with busted zippers, frayed straps and torn seams after just a little bit of wear.”
First made for and sampled among family and friends, T-Bo’s Rugged Pack is now available for purchase online. The side pack is customized to size and features a unique design that lowers the center of gravity, allows for hands-free transport and easily buckles in place. It is made of a thick, water-resistant 600 denier polyester and includes 2” poly buckles and nylon straps. T-Bo’s Rugged Pack also has heavy-duty #10 zippers, multiple stitching and interior lining for extra reinforcement, making it truly rugged.
With a large center opening, the new T-Bo’s Rugged Packs hold a variety of outdoor gear from fishing tackle to hunting supplies. They can be used for other purposes as well which include a travel carry-on or first-aid kit. The waist packs also feature a small interior pocket to keep items like keys, cell phones and wallets separate from larger gear.
Some common uses for the carrying pack include:
- Sporting Events
- Kids Activities
In describing the main function of the new T-Bo’s Rugged Pack, Northam said, “These multi-purpose side packs are designed to go anywhere and hold up in any kind of weather. With such a durable design, they’re built to last.”
T-Bo’s Rugged Packs are made in the U.S.A and manufactured by Tom Northam and team in Northeast Wisconsin. They are available in black, orange and camouflage. For more information, visit http://www.tbosrugged.com.
