Gift[O]Mizer delivers a fun and easy way to take the suffocating dread out of gift-giving.

The Gift[O]Mizer was a collaborative effort done completely in-house, from the design to the coding to the copywriting—and everyone got involved trawling the depths of Amazon to find the strangest treasures available.

Concentrek Group, an integrated communication design agency based in downtown Toledo, is proud to announce the debut of the GiftOMizer app. This all-new gift guide, available for free download through the iTunes App Store, compiles the wildest, the wackiest and downright weirdest products available on Amazon.com, presenting them to users who enter in criteria based on the recipient. This holiday season, the Gift[O]Mizer was first delivered to Concentrek Group’s global client base as a way of saying thank you for a very successful year.

Gift[O]Mizer users select the type of person for whom they’re shopping (“Animal Enthusiast,” “Happy Homemaker,” etc.), the type of gift their looking for (“Entertainment,” “Fashion,” etc.) and a price range. Gift[O]Mizer then presents a cornucopia of options that may not necessarily be the perfect gift, but will most likely inspire a chuckle or two. For the more daring types, there’s also a Randomize It! button that leaves your holiday shopping strictly to chance.

“Every year, we like to provide our clients with a gift that showcases both our latest capabilities, in this case app development, as well as our slightly skewed sense of humor,” says Kent Sackman, who is a principal partner along with Brian Heady. “The Gift[O]Mizer was a collaborative effort done completely in-house, from the design to the coding to the copywriting—and everyone got involved trawling the depths of Amazon to find the strangest treasures available.”

The arrival of the Gift[O]Mizer caps off another year of growth for Concentrek Group. In addition to adding staff members in 2012, the agency also moved into a larger workspace in downtown Toledo’s historic Fort Industry Square.
