Crystal Travel Center in Thousand Oaks Strikes New Deal With Vendor to Book the New Princess Cruise Ship Featuring Outdoor Area for Kids and Teens

Crystal Travel is excited to book members on the new Princess Ship, the Royal Princess, which will set sail in June 2013.

Crystal Travel just signed a new deal, which will enable members to book travel on the new kid friendly ship - the Royal Princess.

According to Crystal, this new vendor will allow them to get the lowest Cruise prices available for their members, on all ships and with all cruise lines.

In particular, the 3,600 passenger Royal Princess, launching in June 2013, will feature an expanded space for children and teens that includes dedicated outdoor areas, including a new teen lounge. A new area for kids under 3 also has been added.

According to Princess' website, for ages 3 to 7, the Princess Pelicans club will offer movie nights, arts and crafts, a new mini air hockey table and a new indoor play structure. The brand-new outdoor play area will feature a playground with space for tricycle riding.

The Shockwaves Club, is for kids ages 8 to 12. Like Remix and Princess Pelicans, Shockwaves will also feature a new dedicated outside space, this one with lounge chairs and a variety of outdoor games. The indoor lounge will feature a giant TV, D.J. booth and arts and crafts tables with youth counselor-led classes. Activities will include pizza and ice-cream parties, and kids-only dinners.

The ship is being built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. Among the many features already revealed are an innovative SkyWalk, a cantilevered, glass-enclosed walkway that will extend 28 feet beyond the edge of the ship and 128 feet over the water; Princess Live! television studio; largest ever Princess Theater; an expanded thermal suite; a new approach to the Chef's Table; a sports complex featuring a laser shooting range and batting cage; and the elimination of nonbalcony outside cabins.
