PolicyPak Software, a leader in desktop security management, has released a new software pak for OpenOffice, which allows IT admins to deliver and remediate settings for users.
The pre-configured Pak used in conjunction with PolicyPak Professional, for example, gives IT admins the ability to turn off automatic updates, enforce an Autorecovery timer, and always create backup copy for OpenOffice users.
PolicyPak manages all of the setting configurations for OpenOffice Writer, Calc, Match, Impress and Draw within the OpenOffice suite. Better yet, PolicyPak automatically remediates the settings each time the application is launched.
