On December 28, 2012, Quorn Foods Inc. releases a statement following a North County Times article by Linda Copp regarding how to get the most out of your vegetarian healthy food diet.

The article informs athletes that, “To maximize performance and recovery, it’s recommended that you enhance your intake of beans, leafy greens, seeds, nuts, whole grains and other colorful plant sources.”
