The Gluten Free Society is now offering two tier levels of certification courses for medical doctors and medical professionals. The courses are designed to improve the care that health care providers, who specialize in the proper diagnosis and treatment of gluten sensitivity and related health issues, deliver to their patients.
“The gluten free market share was greater than 2 billion dollars in 2011 and the numbers are predicted to be even larger for 2012,” said Peter Osborne of the Society. “Gluten Free Society is one of the world’s leading online resources for gluten information. Certification gives doctors exposure to a much larger base of patients seeking help. Additionally, certification positions doctors as local experts on gluten related issues.”
The first tier course offered by The Gluten Free Society is offered at 200 dollars. “The first course helps define difference between Celiac Disease and gluten sensitivity,” continued Osborne.
