Coastal Georgia Accounting is ringing in the New Year with exciting developments for all Savannah residents interested in achieving their financial goals.

Just in time to help Savannahians with New Year’s financial resolutions and the beginning of tax season, Coastal Georgia Accounting has announced a significant expansion, which includes hiring an additional accountant and moving to a new, more spacious location.

“Both of these additions mark significant turning points in the firm’s growth,” said owner and founder Elizabeth Hancock, CPA. “And we could not be more excited to use these growth opportunities to better serve our clients as we embark on a new year.”

Until recently, owner Hancock and accountant Lynn Hosti were the sole brains behind the business, so they are thrilled to introduce Michelle Jones to the team. Jones holds degrees in both accounting and computer information sciences and has previously worked for the Better Business Bureau and ASDA Properties.

Jones will be able to assist clients who are seeking help with bookkeeping, payroll services and individual income tax questions.

As for the location change, the new office is conveniently located next to the old one, but offers much more meeting space and parking. CGA is now located at 337 Commercial Drive, Suite 100.

“We hope the new space will help energize our clients about their financial futures,” Hancock said.

But, it’s not just their clients these women are interested in helping this time of year. In order to motivate those seeking new ways to grow financially in the New Year, Coastal Georgia Accounting is launching a “Count on the New Year” campaign. Starting Jan. 1, 2013, anyone can follow Coastal Georgia Accounting on Facebook and Twitter to receive one practical tip a day about how to be smarter with your money. Tax time is quickly approaching, so many of the tips will be focused on tax return tips.

Coastal Georgia Accounting is a full-service accounting and tax firm experienced in helping small to medium businesses and individuals achieve their financial goals. The Savannah-based firm was founded by Jim Rogers in 1988. Upon his retirement in 2011, Beth Hancock, CPA, acquired the practice and continues to foster its growth.
