San Diego Bay Adventures teams up with the "Wounded Warriors Project," and the "Make A Wish Foundation" to offer the disabled and our veterans a day of adventure and excitement on the San Diego Bay. The event will take place sometime during the month of June in the new year!

San diego Bay owner, Bruce Denham, reports on the company's event for the disabled. "We will be providing all our rentals for free to the disabled. These rentals include Paddle Boards, Kayaks, Jet Skis, Boats and bikes. We will also be providing food for anyone who attends and will be setting up a few booths for people to ask questions or just exchange stories." To help fund the event, San Diego Bay Adventures is putting together a campaign on indiegogo, a non profit organization that helps people, businesses and organizations raise money for their cause, institution or business. For individuals who are interested in making a donation, please visit http://www.indiegogo.com and search for the event name, "A Day On The Bay For The Disabled." The website will provide the necessary information to make a donation directly.

"We have always loved helping others, and this is just another way that we'd like to give back to our community. For the past 25 years, my wife Gail has been interpreting for the deaf at high schools, churches, and on television. With your help, we can create a day full of amazing memories and experiences with many wonderful people" Bruce Denham continues. San Diego Bay has a history of helping those in need. The San Diego Tourism Specialists have held events in the past to provide enjoyment for the disabled and want to make this up coming event a huge success. The event is not just for the disabled, but for veterans as well. San Diego Bay Adventures encourages veterans to come and participate in the event.

Due to the nature of the event, there are several accommodations that will be needed to assist the disabled. Some of these necessities can be very costly. For this reason, SD Bay Adventures really needs your help. In exchange for donations made and depending on the amount, SD Bay Adventures will provide gifts. Some of these gifts include a special tee shirt made of the event, a video made of the event, Discounts on tours and rentals, Your name (or company) on a "Wall of Sponsors", a Catamaran dinner cruise for 2 and much more.

"This event will give individuals with a disability a day to leave the stress and worry at home, and just come down and enjoy a day on the San Diego bay with friends and family that they might not otherwise have. As we all know, finances have been tough on everyone in this economy, especially for those who are constantly having medical bills pile up. Please help us give these people an unforgettable day that they most certainly deserve!" Bruce Denham concludes.
