Quimba Software Requests Judge to Review Attorney's Conduct

The request arose as the result of a complaint Quimba Software had filed with Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals which was dismissed on jurisdictional grounds.

In a letter to the Acting Chairman of the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA), Quimba Software Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Bob Dourandish, requested a review of the conduct of the attorney who represented the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). The request arose as the result of a complaint Quimba Software had filed with ASBCA (ASBCA case number 57636) that the Board dismissed on jurisdictional grounds on December 21, 2012.

Quimba Software, Inc. is a small business specializing in computer software and algorithmic Research and Development (R&D), located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The company was founded in 2002, after receiving its first federal award from the Air force Research Laboratories (AFRL), under the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. The company continued its success by winning more federal contracts and grants. To date, the company has delivered multiple contracts to AFRL, as well as the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), US Department of Homeland Security's Science Directorate, US Department of Transportation, and the National Science Foundation.
