QualityLogic (http://www.qualitylogic.com) is pleased to announce that it has reached a tentative agreement with the MultiSpeak® Initiative to provide data mapping analysis between MultiSpeak, OpenADE/ESPI, OpenADR and Smart Energy Profile 2.0. This analysis will help ensure that MultiSpeak v4.1.4 will be interoperable with these standards and, in the case of OpenADE/ESPI, help MultiSpeak users to participate in Green Button projects.
“We are pleased to be working with the MultiSpeak Initiative to help them with their Green Button program and assure that MultiSpeak will be interoperable with other important smart grid standards,” said Dave Jollota, QualityLogic president and CEO.
“Electric cooperatives across the country are making energy information available to their members. The data mapping project with QualityLogic will enable MultiSpeak to develop interface definitions that can interoperate with important standards and, in the case of OpenADE/ESPI, a standard key to the Administration’s Green Button project,” said Bob Saint, project manager for NRECA’s MultiSpeak Initiative.
QualityLogic was selected by the OpenADR Alliance to develop a conformance and interoperability test tool for OpenADR compliant products, and by Itron to develop and conduct testing for its ChoiceConnect® ERT® Certification Program. QualityLogic is the testing partner for the Pacific Northwest Smart Grid Demonstration, the largest project of its kind in the U.S. The Company offers interoperability, conformance, and certification test solutions for other Smart Energy technologies and is an active participant in Smart Grid standards activities, including the OpenADR and ZigBee Alliance, OpenSG, SGIP, GWAC, MultiSpeak and others.
Departments ranging from IT to Marketing look to QualityLogic to ensure the quality of their websites, provide independent validation of competitive advantages, and develop and execute certification programs for their partners.
The MultiSpeak® Specification is a key industry-wide standard for realizing the potential of enterprise application interoperability.
