Prime Trailer Leasing employees gathered at the Bison Grill at Buffalo Run Golf Course in Commerce City, Colorado on January 3, 2012 to capture a company vision for the upcoming year. Employees from all three Prime Trailer Leasing locations were present. Owner Wes Gardner spoke with his employees about the importance of relationships in business and in life. He told them that not only is it important to have good customer and vendor relationships, but also good relationships with co-workers, God, friends, family and the local community. “My heart and my passion for Prime Trailer Leasing is to build relationships in order to significantly impact people’s lives and our business,” Gardner told his staff. In the spirit of empowering employees to foster great relationships, guest speaker Dave Runyon gave a short talk about his non-profit organization, City Unite, which encourages people to participate in the “art of neighboring.” Wes hopes PTL will become a strategic partner with the movement and make a big impact on the local community this year. Employees were encouraged to love their neighbors as themselves.
The night also communicated the theme of honoring relationships by giving three employees, who had gone above and beyond in 2011, awards for their extra effort. Outstanding Team Player was awarded to Annette Glynn who has worked with Wes Gardner since he began trailer leasing in Colorado twenty years ago. Outstanding Sales Person was awarded to Steve Pippin for his innovative efforts in sales and rentals. Finally the Outstanding Customer Service Award was given to Hugo Mejia due to his leadership skills, devoted work ethic, and commitment to Prime.
