Martis Camp, a private golf and ski community in North Lake Tahoe, is coming off another tremendous year of sales, announcing more than 90 property sales in 2011 totaling $90.2 million. This represents a 68% increase in sales transactions from 2010, and is more than any other private community in the United States. Martis Camp’s record performance further demonstrates the strength and viability of the project as well as the North Lake Tahoe real estate market, which continues to thrive in the midst of the ongoing challenges facing the global economy.

Since launching sales in 2006, Martis Camp has sold more than 360 properties for over $300 million in revenue, with 50 homes completed, 82 homes under construction and 68 in the active design process. More than just real estate, buyers are attracted to Martis Camp’s core values of family and community, as well as the full range of built and planned Club amenities that make Martis Camp a unique, year-round Tahoe destination.

Developer DMB/Highlands Group has completed approximately $90 million in Club amenities so far, and most recently delivered the new Camp Lodge in summer 2011. Situated on a 90-foot rock precipice in the heart of the community, the Camp Lodge offers a variety of casual and fine dining venues, a full-service day spa, outdoor saline lap and vitality pools, men’s and ladies’ lounge and locker rooms, fitness area and fully-stocked golf professional shop, accompanied by 270-degree views of the Carson Range, Lookout Mountain and Sierra Crest.

The 2,177-acre private community continues to set the industry standard in planned residential communities with the majority of its Club amenities already complete. During the winter, owners have private ski access to Northstar California via the Martis Camp Express lift.
