Finally, significant improvements were made to internal SaaS operations to allow better multi-tenancy scaling across multiple customers on the same database architecture.
Year 2011 also proved a boon in terms of industry recognition by leading institutions such as IDC, Silicon India, and TiE. IDC nominated Glassbeam as one of the innovative Business Analytics companies under $100 Million to watch in 2011-12. Silicon India (SI) included Glassbeam in the "SI 100, 2011" annual listing of the top 100 technology companies founded and managed by Indians in the U.S. Further, TiE nominated Glassbeam to its list of top 10 start-ups in the Cloud computing category.
