Glassbeam ends 2011 with significant market traction and compelling product enhancements

Company announces product enhancements, operational profitability and an expanded footprint in the white-hot data analytics space.

Glassbeam, the innovative product analytics vendor, today announced that it has successfully closed out 2011 financial year with significant positive developments across the board in its customer and product operations. The past year brought many successes to Glassbeam with expanded business from current blue chip customers such as IBM, HDS (BlueArc), EMC and Aruba Networks. The company also achieved its targeted financial goal of being a profitable and cash flow positive business by early 2011.

Foremost, the company launched enhanced product functionality by adding numerous new features and functionalities to both its core platform as well as business suite of application products. The product architecture was enhanced to provide single sign-on from for all its end users. The support application suite was improved to allow manual file uploads to enable on-demand processing of machine data. Performance was improved by over 50% in certain key areas providing a much faster response to end user workflows. A new dashboard platform was integrated into core Glassbeam user interface making it seamless to navigate from Glassbeam applications to custom dashboards. Finally, significant improvements were made to internal SaaS operations to allow better multi-tenancy scaling across multiple customers on the same database architecture.

Year 2011 also proved a boon in terms of industry recognition by leading institutions such as IDC, Silicon India, and TiE. IDC nominated Glassbeam as one of the innovative Business Analytics companies under $100 Million to watch in 2011-12. Silicon India (SI) included Glassbeam in the "SI 100, 2011" annual listing of the top 100 technology companies founded and managed by Indians in the U.S. Further, TiE nominated Glassbeam to its list of top 10 start-ups in the Cloud computing category.
