ShoWare Celebrates Record Year of Growth in 2011

Increased revenue by expansion of domestic and international customer base led by ticketing platform enhancements; paves way for growth in 2012

ShoWare posted a 44 percent growth in revenue over 2010, launching 158 new customers from around the world across venues spanning arenas, casinos, fairs, sports and performing arts.

ShoWare™ by VisionOne, Inc. experienced another record year of growth in 2011 driven largely by the company’s expanding customer base domestically and internationally. During the year, the company also launched significant product advances in its ticketing software platform, as well as rapid customer adoption of its Facebook ticketing application.

ShoWare posted a 44 percent growth in revenue over 2010, launching 158 new customers from around the world across venues spanning arenas, casinos, fairs, sports and performing arts. The company marked significant growth in South America where it serves as the vendor of choice for LivePass Argentina and LivePass Brazil.

Among the new features ShoWare added to its platform in 2011 is its REAL Facebook Ticketing application, allowing clients to sell tickets directly and seamlessly through their Facebook Fan page. The feature also allows venues to extend their Facebook Ticketing application to artists and vendors, thereby expanding their social media reach and ticket sales opportunities.

Another new addition to the ShoWare ticketing platform is price category mapping, which allows venues to adjust seat price dynamically along with the ability to designate ADA seats that are for purchase online or at the box office.

“ShoWare’s notable new features played a significant role in the company’s growth last year,” said Joseph Wettstead, Vice President Sales and Marketing for ShoWare by VisionOne, Inc. “We work closely with our customers to constantly evolve our product in ways that are meaningful to them in terms of sales, customer service and ease-of-use.”

Within the company, ShoWare added the new position of director of product management, solely focused on guiding the development of the ShoWare ticketing software system to meet the needs of the company’s current customers. The company also added four new positions in project management, two new sales directors and two new software engineers last year. ShoWare expects to add 10 new positions in 2012, and will focus on continuing the evolution of the ShoWare platform, which includes the recently announced mobile and kiosk ticketing as well as gift card integration.
