Gig Harbor, WA (PRWEB) February 01, 2012
EdGate Correlation Services, LLC has launched the website Digital Learning Today to provide all the latest news about e-learning and digital content in one place.
The site will be updated daily with news about changes in education, with a focus on digital initiatives. Currently the site is featuring news about the first ever "Digital Learning Day - February 1, 2012."
EdGate Correlation Services General Manager Sandra Schugren explained that the company decided to launch the site to give educators a way to keep up with the latest news on digital learning.
"There are many barriers to a teacher constructing curriculum with digital content," Schugren said. "We want to make sure educators have an easy way to be informed about emerging digital strategies that look at larger issues, such as learning management.
"At EdGate we have worked with digital content providers for many years, and we understand the important role of digital content in providing personalized instruction."
The site will also feature news for and about the educational publishing industry. EdGate Correlation Services works closely with many publishers as the industry's leading provider of correlation services.
The site will be maintained by EdGate's staff of professional educators, who are subject matter experts with many years of experience correlating content for more than 150 educational publishers. Content will be aggregated by topics including State Digital News, Video Highlight of the Week and the Buzz in Higher Education.
