It’s been great to merge with mm&d and start work with its online development team. With our combined experience and expertise, we are hoping to continue expanding the Company this year to offer services that match and beat our rivals.
(PRWEB UK) 2 February 2012
Jamie Arthur from Hartlepool has been appointed director of M Media & Design (mm&d) after merging his specialist web design company, Property Webmasters, with the Teesside firm.
With Jamie possessing a database of global clients as well as eight years of experience in web design, his appointment as director means that he will be able to keep mm&d up-to-date with technological advances and help the business to grow to turnover £500,000-plus in 2012.
Jamie said: “It’s been great to merge with mm&d and start work with its online development team. With our combined experience and expertise, we are hoping to continue expanding the Company this year to offer services that match and beat our rivals.”
In addition to Jamie, mm&d has also appointed web developers Mal Boston and Richard Heseltine, as well as design, social media and search engine optimisation (SEO) apprentice Nathan Myers.
These appointments have been added to the Company’s original four staff members – directors Gavin Hatton and Mark Skirving, marketing manager Lee Rust and administrator Rachel McCready – taking the team up to eight full-time members to help meet business demands.
Gavin said: “Merging with Jamie and Property Webmasters has been a really exciting time for us. With the extra demands of Jamie’s global clients we needed to grow our workforce in order to keep up with the business and increase our chances of achieving our company targets.
“Taking on four new team members also means that we are able to complete more projects in much less time while maintaining our current standard of work and developing more services to offer to all our clients.”
These clients currently include Welbeck Wealth Management, the Wooden Spoon charity, McQueen Ltd, Devere Group, the NHS and James Fisher. As this database expands with Jamie’s help, mm&d will be looking to take on even more team members throughout 2012.
The Company has already added new services to its list including social media campaigns, as well as mmd Canvas Art and mmd Acrylic Art, which offer bespoke prints on request.
These latter services will help mm&d to increase its market share within the print industry whilst it also focuses on expanding more into the online marketplace.
