Catapult Technology, Ltd., a leading Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) Information Technology (IT) contractor to the federal government, announces that Shawn Bethea has joined the company as Vice President, Technology & Management Solutions.
Bethea will be responsible for managing existing civilian agency customer relationships and leading capture and proposal activities as the company pursues new business. He will also establish partnerships, ensure that contract requirements are fulfilled, ensure that Catapult earns high customer satisfaction results, and participate in the hiring and evaluating of personnel.
Previous to joining Catapult, Bethea was Senior Vice President at ACCESS Systems Inc., where he created market share awareness and drove growth within the civilian market, revitalizing civilian agency business and closing more than $15 million within six months. He built the cyber security and telecommunications market segments for ACCESS.
Bethea has also held the position of Vice President/COO and CEO at MicroTech LLC, Command Federal Inc., and Xtreme Network Services Inc. Additionally, he has held Vice President positions at such firms as RS Information Systems Inc. (RSIS), Abacus Technology Corporation, and Affiliated Computer Services (ACS). Bethea was also Senior Director, Business Development at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), in addition to a number of other positions over the course of his career.
Bethea reports to David Lyons, Senior Vice President of Technology and Management Solutions and Chief Technology Officer of Catapult. “As Shawn joins the Catapult management team, we leverage his more than 20 years of experience in the information technology field,” said Lyons. “We look forward to benefiting from his contribution to growing the company.”
