Colby is currently living in Coconut Creek, Florida where he trains with American Top Team a premier training facility for UFC fighters.
Chris Ensley, a freelance fighter from Lebanon, OR has more than 20 professional fights under his belt and this experience makes him a formidable opponent for the youngster, Covington.
Midtown Throwdown III will be headlined by a profession bout between Corey “Agnarr” Wyatt with amateur record of 14-2 and Darrio Mobley with professional record of 4-3. This will also be the professional debut for Corey whose amateur career has been nothing short of amazing. He was chosen to 2nd team All-State and 1st Team All-League as a linebacker. On the wrestling mat, Darrio is a 3-time All District Champion and placed 4th in State in 2009.
Amateur fighters from the Pacific Northwest will be participating in the event as well. Included are numerous popular local fighters and an exciting heavyweight tournament between as 265 lb monsters Jimmy Jennett facing Anthony “the Joker” McDonald and Tyrell Bosen fighting Jason Begley. The fight card currently has 15 matches scheduled in several weight classes. All of the contestants are athletic, explosive and unpredictable with varying degrees of experience.
Under the close supervision of the Oregon State Athletic Commission, the fights are conducted with the safety of the participants foremost. Judges, referees, medical personnel and observers from OSAC are required to be in attendance and carefully monitor the matches.
