Universal Pictures and Cast It Talent Team Up Searching For Next Big Action Star

Universal Pictures and Cast It Talent have launched a website where aspiring and experienced actors alike are able to submit themselves for this star-making role in a big budget action movie directed by Joseph Kosinski (Tron: Legacy). Actors can download instructions from the website and then upload video of themselves auditioning for the part. Auditions will be reviewed by the casting department of Universal. The best performances will be reviewed by the director and producers for this lead role.

Cast It Talent, in association with Universal Pictures, announces the launch of their latest open call website at http://www.unifilmcasting.com. The studio is conducting a nationwide search looking for an actor to star in a big budget action movie directed by Joseph Kosinski, director of blockbuster Tron:Legacy.

The actor, or aspiring actor, must fit the role description of Male, late 20s - late 30s. Must be at least 6’ tall, battle-hardened, physically imposing, and extremely athletic. An intelligence and fire in the eyes. Skilled with military technology and weapons.

The search has a deadline for submissions of February 7th, 2012, and the film is scheduled to begin filming in March 2012. However, casting will continue until the role is filled.
