After receiving his Doctorial degree in Medicine from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, 1974, Dr. Gary M. Horndeski completed a residency in general surgery at the University Hospital of Cleveland, and a residency at the University of Texas branch at Herman Hospital in Houston, TX. Dr. Horndeski completed two fellowships in Reconstructive and Hand surgery in Houston and Detroit, respectively.
