Leading pottery supplier Denby has announced the success of its latest digital campaign after taking a fresh approach to its online marketing with the help of the UK’s Number 1 SEO Agency Click Consult.

Keen to build its international profile and increase website rankings in the USA, the traditional pottery firm, which has been making pottery from its Derbyshire home for over 200 years, has turned to digital techniques to reach a wider target audience. Denby developed a new online strategy with the digital agency to help drive traffic to the website and has achieved exceptional results following the six month campaign.

The brief for the campaign set in July 2011 asked for targeted SEO and Pay Per Click (PPC) services across Denby’s UK and USA markets. Key objectives included maintaining and improving rankings for a wide variety of branded and product range terms and to increase organic traffic to its websites.

The firm has announced excellent results over the initial 6 months of the campaign with a 38% improvement across all keywords in the USA, and 50% of terms now found on page one. In the UK, 46% of rankings improved and 50% were maintained in top positions.

Denby has also seen a dramatic increase in organic traffic in the USA with figures up by 42.06% between September 2011 and January 2012 compared with the same period a year ago. There has also been a 37% increase for the UK website over the same period.

PPC benchmarks were met and improved upon throughout the majority of the campaign which the pottery firm said also helped to generate greater awareness and drive traffic to the website.
