“With the strongest current product offering, Troux is leading the EAMS category in terms of depth of functionality. In addition, it offers methodologies and services to help its customers get the most from these capabilities."
Austin, TX (PRWEB) February 07, 2012
Troux™ Technologies, Inc., the leader in Business Technology Management (BTM) and Enterprise Architecture (EA) software, today announced record year-over-year growth for the fourth quarter of 2011, ending December 31, 2011. Overall revenues rose by 32%, including a 51% increase in license revenues. Troux also saw a record in its number of customers, rising to over 400 customers worldwide, including 50% customer growth in global regions outside of the U.S. With over one-half of total revenue coming from existing customers, Troux continues to enjoy a world-class renewal rate of nearly 100%.
“The market for business technology management and enterprise architecture management software has moved mainstream. Troux’s growth shows that business leaders and CIO’s from around the globe are increasingly finding our solutions to be mandatory in driving enterprise growth, cost management and agility,” said David Hood, chief executive of Troux.
“The value of insight goes up exponentially during times of rapid change,” commented Warren Ritchie, former CIO, Volkswagen of America, and independent consultant. “Now more than ever, business leaders and CIO’s are finding they must have current, accurate information. This is what Troux delivers.”
‘’Today, we are seeing evidence that the majority of organizations across industries and globally are seeking to leverage enterprise architecture (EA) to drive business value and impact. They are not just focused on IT engineering and operations. This shift in focus requires EA practitioners to think about their role differently and, in many cases, employ new ways of working,” according to a recent report* by analysts at Gartner Research.
Momentum in Application Portfolio Management, Transition to Cloud, Mobile Computing
Customers are rapidly standardizing around Troux for their application portfolio management (APM) needs. In a 2011 leadership survey, Troux found that two-thirds of the respondents said they could eliminate or retire up to 20% of their applications. This represents millions of dollars of potential cost savings and investment redeployment. Now CIO’s around the globe are turning to APM as a way to replace unnecessary IT overhead and align their application and IT portfolios to the strategies and goals of the business.
“With the accelerating transition to mobile and cloud computing, customers are looking for ways to maximize growth while making smart, long term investments. Applications lie at the heart of every IT initiative. Troux’s state-of-the-art, market-leading approach to creating line of site between business and IT enables companies to build, optimize and manage sustainable business and IT transformational programs,” continued Hood.
“At Troux we’re also seeing increased demand for our cloud-based offering. We experienced 60% growth in the adoption of Troux on Demand, our SaaS offering that, when combined with our services accelerators, enables our customers to see tangible business value in as little as 30 days,” continued Hood. In 2011 Troux saw revenue from Troux on Demand increase by over 100%.
Continued Recognition for Market Leadership
Troux was recognized in April 2011 as a ‘Top Current Offering’ in a comparative evaluation, The Forrester Wave™: Enterprise Architecture Management Suites, Q2 2011”, conducted by independent research firm, Forrester Research, Inc. According to this report, “With the strongest current product offering, Troux is leading the EAMS category in terms of depth of functionality. In addition, it offers methodologies and services to help its customers get the most from these capabilities. The company is also a thought leader that takes the approach that the right way to message and evangelize the market is by addressing direct EA issues such as standards, application decommissioning, and data center consolidation. In addition to serving enterprise architects, Troux is a particularly good fit for organizations that involve the following EA stakeholders: the CIO, the PMO, IT finance, and CxOs."
