At American Support, we are proud to be bringing jobs back to the United States and to be offering employment opportunities to our veterans and their spouses.
Chapel Hill, N.C. (PRWEB) February 03, 2012
As President Obama unveils his Veterans Jobs Corps initiative, American Support is reaffirming its commitment to hiring veterans and military spouses.
Since 2010, American Support has actively focused its recruiting efforts toward veterans and military spouses. The company has worked closely with the U.S.O., the Wounded Warrior Project and the National Military Spouse Network to provide jobs for the nation’s veterans and their spouses.
“At American Support, we are proud to be bringing jobs back to the United States and to be offering employment opportunities to our veterans and their spouses,” said American Support’s President and CEO Matt Zemon. “These individuals have made great sacrifices on behalf of our nation and providing them a job when they get home is the least that we can do.”
Zemon also serves as an entrepreneur in residence for the National Military Spouse Network.
In his speech Friday announcing the new Veterans Jobs Corps initiative, President Obama stated, ““Let’s get more cops on the beat, let’s get more rangers in the parks, let’s get more firefighters on call, and in the process, we’re going to put more veterans back to work... They’ve already risked their lives defending America. They should have the opportunity to rebuild America.”
American Support fully agrees.
