A look at the Senior Vice President of Sales and Administration.

On July 5, 2006, Melissa Barba joined NBRI as a Project Manager. With her she brought over ten years of experience in Operations and Account Management. Most recently she had managed sales operations for The Dallas Morning News where she streamlined processes and designed sales tracking systems. In her previous role with MetLife Resources, she had managed accounts across an 8-state area. Within her first few weeks at NBRI she quickly acquired the landscape and an overview of the processes and procedures that make NBRI so successful.

It became clear to NBRI Management that Melissa is extraordinary. Highly organized, there seem to be no limits to the amount of responsibility she can assume and execute with skill and grace. Highly professional, Melissa gained favor within the Company, as she did with all of the Clients with whom she worked.

Melissa quickly moved into a senior position and oversaw the project management team. She instituted tracking systems to facilitate team collaboration in managing work flow and enhancing quality assurance checkpoints. As a Senior Project Manager, Melissa trained and developed Project Coordinators so that they could assume additional responsibilities and grow into Project Management roles.

The next logical step was for Melissa to move into Research Consulting. As a Research Consultant, Melissa would take on program development and presenting NBRI’s key strengths and benefits to potential clients. She was well received and her success catapulted her to Director of Research Consulting. As Director of Research Consulting, Melissa worked closely with the Director of Project Management to coordinate projects such that clients experienced little transition as they moved through the project life cycle from deployment and reporting to action planning and implementation.

NBRI ensures that clients fully understand the survey data and analysis, and facilitates leveraging results for organizational development. Our continuous improvement process takes clients from survey to implementing solutions in six simple steps. As Senior Vice President of Sales and Administration, Melissa continues to work with organizations throughout the world, ensuring that client satisfaction is at best in class levels.
