Our Products Committee thoroughly researched different biofuel products within the exempt market space and it was evident that Bedford Biofuels was the clear choice for Frank Capital.
Calgary, Alberta (PRWEB) February 06, 2012
Bedford Biofuels, headquartered in Calgary, grows biofuel feedstock Jatropha curcas on 160,000 hectares of prime development land in eastern Kenya, and is in the process of securing 200,000 additional hectares. Jatropha produces an oil-bearing nut that serves as a replacement for diesel, burning up to 78% cleaner than traditional diesel.
Frank Capital’s network of registered Dealing Representatives is now offering shares of Bedford Biofuels’ affiliate, Bedford Biofuels Tana Delta Phase I Investment Corporation, which are eligible for RSPs and TFSAs. The Bedford Biofuels units are the ninth investment product sold by Frank Capital, and fit well with its strategy as Green Energy is one of its core segments.
"We were seeking a green energy product, more specifically a biofuel product, for our suite of exempt market products, for the benefit of clients who want their capital to earn strong returns and contribute to the benefit of society and the environment,’’ said Travis Cadman, CEO of Frank Capital. "Our Products Committee thoroughly researched different biofuel products within the exempt market space and it was evident that Bedford Biofuels was the clear choice for Frank Capital.’’ He added: "The timing of this addition is particularly good for our clients as Bedford Biofuels is an RSP-eligible product and can therefore be added to their RRSP contributions for the 2011 tax year.’’
David McClure, President and CEO of Bedford Biofuels, said he envisions a long, prosperous relationship with Frank Capital. “We reviewed all of the EMDs out there and were absolutely blown away by Frank Capital Partners,” says David McClure, President and CEO of Bedford. “The support Frank Capital offers its licensed representatives is unparalleled. They have an outstanding lineup of products on the shelf and a fantastic team running the business. Bedford is in good hands.”
Bedford is the second green energy stock offered in the Frank Capital portfolio. It already offers the units of Solar Income Fund Inc., a privately held Canadian company focused on the development and management of solar energy power generation installations.
