OnStage Packs the House with Surplus Ticket Sales for the Performing Arts

OnStage has announced the launch of a new service for their Performing Arts clients. Ticket Love is a fast and secure way to sell surplus tickets.

OnStage is a publisher and advertising sales company that serves performing arts organizations in over a hundred markets across the country. They publish free program books that are handed out to audience members at each performance, and sell advertising in the programs to local businesses.

Utilizing new Customer Relationship Management software and a database of thousands of local business contacts in every market, OnStage has developed a system for filling unsold seats through an interface similar to Gilt or Fab.com, but tailored for their performing arts clients.

According to OnStage President Norm Orlowski, "We have cultivated relationships with our advertisers and with thousands of other local businesses, as well. Our Performing Arts partners have unsold tickets. They give us vouchers for their unsold tickets. We load them onto our system and invite our thousands of local business contacts to buy them. Seats are sold, and they get likes on their Facebook page."

With Ticket Love, OnStage provides a hands-free way to fill surplus seats with the kind of pre-screened, pre-qualified business and community leaders that can help grow a performing arts organization's loyal patron base. Through discounted, time-sensitive, limited-quantity flash ticket sales to local business owners, Ticket Love is certain to generate revenue.

"Performing arts groups have a significant impact on local economies," says Norm Orlowski. "We think this kind of innovative revenue building is critical for their survival in challenging economic times like these."
