MicroAutomation, a leading systems integrator of contact center solutions, has announced the appointment of Chris Knights to the position of Principal of the Emergency Operations Solutions group. Chris brings a wide range of public safety and emergency operations experience to MicroAutomation. He has been actively involved in consulting to the PSAP community about Next Generation 9-1-1 for the last several years. In addition, Knights has over 10 years of experience in Public Safety technology at the Federal, State and local government level. He has worked to support government technology efforts for 16 years on wide-ranging initiatives including Geographic Information Systems (GIS), wireless and wireline 9-1-1, IP telephony and cloud-based networks
