Couples can tie the knot or renew their vows at the top of the mountain on Valentine's Day.

Anyone looking for an exciting and inexpensive way to spend Valentine’s Day need not look any farther than Mount Snow in Southern Vermont because the resort is offering Cloud Nine Nuptials where couples can renew their vows or even get married at the top of the mountain, as well as a sweetheart of a lift ticket deal and gourmet food in the romantic setting of the Green Mountain National Forest. Mount Snow’s location makes for a perfect day trip from New England’s metro areas but lodging specials are also available for those wanting to extend their ski date overnight.

The resort is offering an advance purchase lift ticket special of two tickets for $49, only available at up until February 13. Couples wanting to renew their vows or even tie the knot can do so at the top of Mount Snow’s scenic Sunbrook area at 10:00am where a Justice of the Peace will be there to conduct the ceremony followed by coffee and cake in the Summit Lodge at 3,600 feet.

The evening brings a three course “Sweetheart Tasting Menu” at Harriman’s Restaurant in the Grand Summit Resort Hotel featuring chef specialties and an additional wine pairing menu.
