The Association for Corporate Growth® (ACG), a global professional organization focused on middle-market growth, private investment and mergers and acquisitions, today announced that Duane Morris LLP, a leading law firm in private equity, has signed the first multi-year agreement as an ACG Global Growth Partner.

“With Duane Morris on board for the next three years as a Global Growth Partner, ACG will gain intellectual capital and a world-class partner that shares ACG’s goal of elevating the discussion around private capital, corporate growth, governance and business strategy,” said Gary LaBranche, FASAE, CAE, president and CEO of ACG. “Duane Morris will play an integral role in advancing ACG’s mission to drive middle-market growth, and ACG members will benefit from this commitment.”

“We are pleased to embark on this multi-year journey with ACG,” said George J. Just as we know that our private equity expertise will be instrumental in this conversation, we know that ACG’s membership will benefit through strong and timely thought leadership.”

Through its Global Growth Partnership, Duane Morris has assumed a leading role as a Founding Champion of the Middle-Market Private Capital Leadership Forum (the Forum). ACG created the Forum to quantify, demonstrate and communicate the positive economic impact and job creation derived from private capital investment in middle-market companies.

“We must continue the work of communicating the positive contributions of private capital investment in middle market companies,” said Andy Rice, chairman of the ACG Board of Directors and senior vice president of the Jordan Company. “Through this multi-year partnership, Duane Morris has made a leadership commitment to ACG and its stakeholders. Thanks to Duane Morris, ACG will accelerate its global effort to demonstrate that private capital delivers a public good.”

In its capacity as a Global Growth Partner, Duane Morris will be a key sponsor of ACG’s 2012 InterGrowth conference, the largest such event for middle-market dealmakers, corporate executives and advisors, to be held April 25–27, 2012 in Dallas. At InterGrowth, Duane Morris will co-host the Champions Reception at Cowboys Stadium on April 26.
