Just north of Atlanta, GA, a custodian from Stars and Strikes finds a loose diamond near the bowling lanes and returns to its rightful owner.

Cumming, GA: Stars And Strikes - Cumming announced today that Rick Mayker, one of their custodians, found a loose diamond near the bowling lanes while cleaning up after a large corporate event. He immediately turned it into his manager. Stars and Strikes Fun Center is over 50,000 square feet, which likens this to finding a “needle in a haystack.” Sandra Greene had been at a corporate training party last Wednesday night with MedAssets of Alpharetta. She called about the lost diamond early the next morning. Mark VanBuskirk, the General Manager of Stars and Strikes, rushed in to the bowling center to see if the diamond could be found. Upon his arrival he was thrilled to see it had already been turned in. Rick said “I only did what anybody would do. I am glad I was able to find it for her.”

Sandra made a special trip to personally give Rick a cash reward for his honesty, as well as a big hug! Stars and Strikes is also rewarding Rick. “In this economy, it is refreshing to find someone that puts others ahead of himself. I am really proud that Rick had the integrity to do the right thing,” said one of the owners of Stars and Strikes, Jack Canouse. If it’s true “What goes around, comes around”, then Rick has a lot of good coming to him this year!
