You can read spec sheets all you want, but when you get a first-hand, unbiased review from someone just like you, it holds a lot more credibility.

Senco’s JoistPro 150 and JoistPro 250 metal-connector nailers hit the market this month, aimed at giving users accuracy, speed and productivity when driving fasteners into tough substrates. The ToolSelect community is already talking about the tools, exchanging unbiased power tool reviews and advice.

This new class of nailers drives 34-degree collated nails, 1-1/2” to 2-1/2” long by .131” to .162” diameter, through holes in metal hardware.

“As with any new tool, our community is on top of things,” says Tom Klein, vice president of marketing/merchandising with ToolSelect. “You can read spec sheets all you want, but when you get a first-hand, unbiased review from someone just like you, it holds a lot more credibility.”

Senco markets the nailers as lightweight, powerful and ergonomically balanced, noting some ideal applications: fastening joist hangers, seismic and hurricane ties, post bases and caps, foundation caps and other metal framing hardware.

The JoistPro 150 fires a single strip of 1-1/2" paper tape collated nails, .131" to .148" in diameter, while the JoistPro 250 fires a single strip of 1-1/2" to 2-1/2" paper tape collated nails, .131” to .162” in diameter.
Senco touts the lightweight nature of the tools against competitors, saying the JoistPro 150 and 250 can better reach tight spaces and work more comfortably overhead. Each tool features a tool-free 360-degree adjustable exhaust, blowing away from the user.
