DIGIOP today announced that a new version of DIGIOP ELEMENTS™, the company’s powerful video and data management software, will be released this week. The latest release, Version 8.1, adds expanded event notification capabilities, advanced traffic and queuing analytics, additional IP camera, POS and EAC integrations, and offers a 30-day trial option.
DIGIOP’s enhanced event notification engine allows users to customize alerts for a variety of system health events including system availability, recording issues, video loss and scene loss. Combined with the existing notifications for pre-set video and data triggers, this advanced functionality further enhances the centralized management capabilities of the ELEMENTS software.
The latest release also adds to the substantial list of advanced video analytics available with the integration of the DIGIOP 3D Intelligent IP Camera. Counting intelligence allows users to monitor traffic levels and capture detailed data about object height, velocity, direction, shape, and size. New queue and service metrics enable the tracking of customer movements and actions throughout the store, allowing users to measure the effectiveness of displays and promotions, and to optimize check-out and customer service staffing levels.
Perhaps the most powerful addition to the software is a 30-day trial capability, giving users full-featured access, including 32 IP channels, 32 analog channels, and unlimited integrations to POS registers, analytics, and access control. “A risk-free test drive allows potential customers to experience how truly simple, seamless, and powerful our solution can be for their business,” said Rich Mellott, President of DIGIOP. “We made it a high priority to add this feature to the release – and are very excited about giving customers the opportunity to experience the ELEMENTS platform and letting the software speak for itself.”
The release also features several new IP camera / model integrations, including 3S Vision, APC, Brickcom, D-Link, and Vivotek. Additionally, DIGIOP ELEMENTS now supports RBH access control and APG POS devices. DIGIOP has been actively adding to the DIGIOP ELEMENTS platform since its initial launch in July of 2011. “Our agile software development philosophy allows us to quickly introduce new features and functionality that address the ever-changing needs of our customers,” said Mellott. “We have an extremely aggressive development roadmap for 2012 – this will be a very exciting year for our company and our customers.”
