Kimbia, Inc. – which provides the most powerful and flexible online fundraising and event management tools available in the marketplace – today announced that Richard Stanford has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer.
Since Kimbia’s founding in 2007, Stanford has served as the company’s Chief Architect and has been instrumental in developing product innovations that fuel Kimbia’s success today. As CTO, Stanford will oversee all technical aspects of the expanding product platform and interact frequently with clients to ensure even more direct customer input into new product development. Before Kimbia, Stanford was the CTO and Founder of Blue Sky Logistics, which provides web-based metrics to the warehousing industry. He also served as a consultant to SSA Global Logistics, where software he designed and developed is still used to manage some of the country's busiest warehouses.

Phil Murray also has joined the company as Vice President of Finance and Administration. Prior to joining Kimbia, Murray served as the Vice President of Finance at Tutors with Computers, Director of Finance and Operations at StrictlyTalent.com and Chief Financial Officer at Hattaway-Baxter.
Additional executive changes include the promotion of Andy Shattuck from Director of Product Marketing to Senior Director of Product Management. In this new role, Shattuck will have primary responsibility for advancing Kimbia’s product roadmap. Prior to joining Kimbia in 2007, Shattuck served as Director of Online Marketing for an online retailer, as Creative Director for BroadbandNow and as Design Director for Applied Multimedia Productions.
Meanwhile, Mitch Aubin has been promoted from Director of Account Management to Senior Director of Client Services. Aubin will lead all product implementation and services efforts for the company, continuing to work closely with clients to ensure their optimization of and success with Kimbia. Before Kimbia, Aubin spent a decade working in the SaaS market, where he led professional services teams for customers of QuickArrow, PointServe and Callidus Software.
Kimbia also announced that the company’s founder and President, Thon Morse, has resigned, along with Spencer Whelan, Kimbia’s Director of Marketing Communications.
