Five regional building materials manufacturers recently aligned to create AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURERS of Building Materials, LLC (AIM). AIM is the consolidation of five companies and an industry executive brought together to form a national platform of manufacturing plants. Incorporated and headquartered in Plano, Texas, AIM production facilities are strategically located throughout the United States. AIM shareholders are the Hudac family- FBC, ALCM, Asphalt Products Co., Rob Barry-RM Lucas, Adrian Berger and Dick Campbell - Seaboard Asphalt, Danny Adair- US Ply, Gary Scholten- Western Colloid and Managing Partner/CEO Andy Hastings.

AIM produces over 500 products including complete lines of white coatings, emulsions, mastics, sealants, driveway maintenance products, modified bitumen membranes, caulks, adhesives, waterproofing, specialty paints, road emulsions and chemical distribution.

By leveraging the rich history and infrastructure of these companies AIM will create a national brand servicing a variety of channels primarily in the building materials segment. In addition to the national brand and strategic private label agreements, the strong regional brands that have been so successful since the early 1900s will continue to expand market share.
