Although there is heightened industry awareness surrounding pressure ulcers, many healthcare providers lack knowledge of wound formation and few have the skills to properly stage pressure ulcers. “This webinar presents techniques on proper identification and staging, the first step in winning the war on pressure ulcers,” according to Anne Scheurich, RN, CWOCN.

Scheurich adds, “Reducing pressure ulcers are central to the mission of WoundRounds, so we are bringing this valuable education free to participants and offering nurses a no-cost CEU opportunity.” Besides pressure ulcer staging, participants will learn how to identify a Suspected Deep Tissue Injury and explore practical tips for unstageable wounds.
