MediClick, a leading provider of Web-based analytics and savings solutions for the healthcare industry, today announced that they have been selected by RegionalCare Hospital Partners to implement industry-leading supply chain and accounts payable solutions. The first installation took place at 165-bed Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio.

RegionalCare Hospital Partners initially partnered with MediClick in September 2011. The Brentwood, Tenn., company plans to bring MediClick’s best-of-breed supply chain and AP products to its other hospitals. Implementation of MediClick for Contracts & Analysis is already underway at company headquarters.

MediClick’s ability to go live with its core products in a short period of time impressed RegionalCare’s vice president of materials management Pat Walls.

MediClick for the Supply Chain takes manual, labor-intensive processes and automates them – from providing a true three-way match between PO, invoice and quantity to simplifying ordering through electronic requisitioning. MediClick for Accounts Payable gets invoices into the system quickly and accurately so vendors get paid on time. When used in conjunction with MediClick for the Supply Chain, MediClick for Accounts Payable resolves discrepancies quickly. It also enables users to maintain separate purchasing and AP data, ensures that accurate prices and discounts have been applied and creates and stores vendor records.
