The World Sales Forum brings executives and sales professionals together to share knowledge from five international speakers on understanding the consultative sales approach.

Richard Grehalva, author of Unleashing the Power of Consultative Selling, will share his presentation “Learning How to Have a Consultative Mindset” at the World Sales Forum, March 9, 2012 at the Sheraton, Bogota organized by America Empresarial.

Grehalva will discuss the history of sales techniques and where we are now. His presentation will define what a consultative mindset is and the techniques to use in understanding the customer’s problem or identifying the customer’s needs. He will then explain how to integrate a consultative approach into existing sales practices. The presentation will conclude with Grehalva’s five principles of change management to maximize the success of sales professionals.

“What is the point of offering a solution, if you do not know what the problem is or the results your customer wants?” says Grehalva. “Understanding and using a consultative approach to selling is necessary to compete in today’s challenging marketplace,” Grehalva added.
