New York, NY (PRWEB) February 10, 2012
Carbon NYC announced Esquire Magazine as its Media Partner for the third annual installment of its highly anticipated charity fundraising event, the Spring Charity Soirée. Carbon and Esquire will work together closely toward the goal of raising funds and awareness for arts education programs in New York by supporting Education at Lincoln Center and, in part, Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation.
Carbon and Esquire have partnered in years passed; the Charity Soirée on May 11th will be their greatest collaboration to date as the event historically sells out with over 500 guests in attendance. The event will be held in Chelsea’s gallery district at Center 548 on Friday, May 11th. In keeping with the theme, Carbon will put on an artistic feast for the senses complete with live performances by award winning artists, a contemporary art exhibition and sale curated by Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, New York’s top DJs, a silent auction of one-of-a-kind experiences and luxury items, hors d’oeuvres by renowned caterers and a sponsored open bar. The fundraising event will support arts education in underserved New York communities by raising funds for the education programs of Lincoln Center and, in part, Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation.
The event comes on the heels of 2011’s sold-out event, which raised $100,000 for Bronx-based CampInteractive. In 2010, Carbon supported charity: water through their Charity Soirée and has since made a commitment to spearhead at least one major philanthropic initiative annually. Tickets will be available for purchase starting in early March for $250 or VIP table service for $5,000 at http://www.AboutLincolnCenter.org/carbon-nyc.
