REDCOM will exhibit its Next Generation Carrier-Class softswitch and media gateway solutions February 14–15 in booth #335 at the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association (NTCA) Expo 2012 in San Diego, CA.

REDCOM will showcase SLICE® 2100™ powered by TRANSip®, REDCOM’s VoIP technology suite. TRANSip integrates key IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) elements in a single platform, bringing call management functionality while offering call setup, control, termination, and directory services for IP subscribers through the industry standard architecture, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), for seamless interoperability.

REDCOM’s SLICE 2100 brings VoIP connectivity to a wide range of applications, including Next Generation Carrier-Class softswitch. As a converged VoIP solution, the SLICE 2100 delivers interoperable communications to public and private networks. The SLICE 2100 functions as both a softswitch and gateway, delivering up to 2,000 registered IP subscribers in public networks, private networks, and emergency response communications.

REDCOM’s SLICE 2100 is interoperable with a wide range of remote access solutions including GR-303, V5.2, and Broadband Loop Carrier (BLC). Connecting to a BLC, the SLICE 2100 offers interoperability to advanced technologies, remote operation capability and efficient network management. SLICE 2100 also offers custom configurable SIP trunking, and multiple E1/T1 trunks per unit.
