Custom privacy and regional-based networking are the two features that make TheTravelVoucher.com stand out from other travel sites.
New York, New York (PRWEB) February 08, 2012
TheTravelVoucher.com is an interactive interface that allows users and businesses to share and gain information about travel locations. The network is designed to be stream-lined, aesthetically pleasing, and easy to use. Users can log-in with their FaceBook accounts, create a business page, or create an individual user account. In addition, the network provides custom privacy for each location users are interested in, which allows users to tune in (#tunein on Twitter) or tune out to exactly what they are interested in.
The founders have solid bases in DC and Las Vegas, and have traveled to 20 countries in 2011 in efforts to establish business connects they can reach out to in the near future by offering free vacations to members. The founders will start off by giving away free vacation packages to Las Vegas every month. Member experiences will be filmed (#ontheTV on Twitter) and these experiences will be periodically released in episodes on YouTube & Twitter. The first episode will be filmed in mid-February for a private launch party in Las Vegas. The sky's the limit for this one-of-a-kind web experience.
Operating on the six degrees of separation principle, the site allows travelers to create small social networks based on their destinations or to connect through a tiered network based on the user’s immediate friends.
With TheTravelVoucher.com, travelers can find the best hotels, restaurants, and attractions at their destination from other users in the know. They can also post their own recommendations. Travelers share as much or as little information about themselves as they like, using the site’s unique privacy settings. Travelers have the option to connect with others who have traveled to the destination, or with just two or three close friends.
“Custom privacy and regional-based networking are the two features that make TheTravelVoucher.com stand out from other travel sites," says founder Marshall Delaney.
“There's a tiered network of associates that users can search through when they are trying to find out about a location they are interested in traveling to. This network is built on the principles of six degrees of separation, so it ties together people that have some tangible connection. This should provide peace of mind to those travelers who are leery about communicating with total strangers,” continues Delaney.
As the site expands, TheTravelVoucher.com plans to add mobile applications and widgets for popular smartphone platforms. Other planned features include interactive tools for users to share and learn about the cultures they visit through the arts. The founder would also like to add specific aid features to address humanitarian concerns.
