JKH successfully reduced operating costs and delivered an enhanced customer experience through the integration of SAP ERP with its POS system and online store.
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) February 09, 2012
In 2005, John Keells Holdings PLC (JKH) implemented SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to integrate management information and facilitate business functions across its 70 subsidiaries. More recently JKH moved its KeellsSuper supermarket chain from the group ERP deployment to its own line of business specific instance of SAP ERP. The migration required integration with both the retailer’s point-of-sale (POS) system and its online store.
WSO2 and JKH will review the implementation, including key architectural and technology decisions, in the free webinar entitled, “Using the WSO2 ESB with SAP ERP in the Retail Sector.” The one-hour WSO2 technical webinar on is being held twice on Thursday, February 16: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. PST for the Americas and 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. GMT for Europe and Asia-Pacific. Using the WSO2 ESB with SAP ERP in the Retail Sector
The webinar will explore how JKH successfully reduced operating costs and delivered an enhanced customer experience through the integration of SAP ERP with its POS system and online store. The session also will examine how the retailer delivered role-based access to crucial data, applications, and analytical tools using the WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) with SAP ERP. Additionally, the webinar will discuss the key integration options evaluated by JKH and how a WSO2 solution addressed customer requirement challenges and exposed various benefits.
The webinar will be conducted by four experts from WSO2 and JKH, who were involved in the SAP ERP integration project:
