With all the media hype and outright manipulation regarding the Republican candidates for President, is there a choice different from the status quo? What about Presidential Character? Vote Fraud? These topics and more are covered in a recently released documentary by William Lewis Films.

Does anyone wonder how mainstream media manipulation affects our choice for president?

A recently released documentary by William Lewis Films is drumming up support for and helping spread information about Ron Paul and his aspirations should he be elected president in 2012. The film also covers media manipulation of our elections, concerns over vote fraud and more. The Ron Paul Uprising is a powerhouse of information packed in a short sixty-minute format.

Explored in the film are some of the characteristics that should be sought in the person seeking the highest office in the United States. Associate producer, Gary Franchi, commented, “We live in the freest nation on the planet. Our concerns regarding someone to run our country should be of the utmost importance and shouldn’t be left to chance!”

The Ron Paul Uprising also takes a look at the mainstream media’s role in our elections. “Does anyone wonder how mainstream media manipulation affects our choice for president and what, if anything, we can do about it?” says the films director, William Lewis.

While the film does enlighten the viewer about Paul, there is so much more. Subjects considered in the film include:

What guidelines should be considered when making our choice for President?
Why is Ron Paul running for office?
How did Obama vote on proposed legislation that impacts our constitutional rights?
Is vote fraud a true concern?
How much, on average per year, have the last two administrations spent on military ventures?

The film explores these in short, well-researched sections including a head to head voting comparison, including Obama and Paul, on key controversial legislation in recent times.

“Many people ask, ‘should we be concerned about vote fraud?’ I say of course we should! It is rampant in our recent history. I don’t think people understand the extent of it, and it doesn’t always have to do with democrat or republican tactics,” states the film’s writer, Debbie Lewis.

Both the Lewis’ and Franchi are concerned about the direction this country is headed. In fact, many people are concerned as the most recent Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracker Poll shows Obama’s approval rating at 48% and the Washington Post/ABC Poll shows Congress’s approval rating at 13%. “We should take charge of our own knowledge and not let the opportunity to elect a non-status quo politician pass us by. After all, when was the last time we had an opportunity like this?” states Lewis.

The film is available for as little as $5 per copy. The filmmakers encourage holding screenings of the film in your local area to help educate your local area with regard to Paul’s positions on many of the issues, what’s at stake and what they can do about it.
