Use food to help you seduce the one you love.

Chef Julieta Ballesteros uses food to help Crema's customers seduce their lovers. For $69, Crema Restaurante will serve a 3-course gourmet Mexican dinner and help release its patrons' inner Latin lover. While Crema is known for their authentic gourmet Mexican cuisine with French presentation and influence, this holiday, Chef Julieta was inspired by the Chinese New Year as well. She'll be using some traditional Asian ingredients such as ginger, eel, Peking duck, and panko to provide a twist to this one time only menu.

The dinner will be served only on Valentine’s Day, Tuesday, February 14th, 2012. Dishes will include such aphrodisiacs as chocolate and chiles to spice up the mood. A drink paring option is available to further lubricate the evening’s festivities. The drinks will incorporate ingredients such as roses, chocolate, and strawberries.

Some of the featured dishes include: Crema de Coco con Genjibre, Langosta y Ostion Frito (Coconut soup with ginger broth, butter pached lobster, fried oysters, and truffle oil); Rollitos San Valentine (smoked eel, crab, tuna, sesame crusted avocado summer rolls); Tacos de Chicharron de Pato con Foie Gras (crackling Peking duck, pomegranate reduction, foie gras, and mole negro), and Costillitas Cargadas en Crema de Tocino con Higo (braised short ribs with rosemary brioche toast).

In addition, guests will be treated to a special surprise live performance.
