Overall, The [Relatrix] Insider system continues to be a sound investment for our district.

Relatrix, the leader in Online Contact Center solutions for the K-12 market, announces the release of an industry white paper presenting how a Texas school district is going beyond basic notification, while saving time and money with Relatrix’ cloud-based software. Relatrix wrote and will be presenting the white paper at the Texas School PR Association conference in Austin, TX this week in collaboration with Humble ISD.

The white paper emphasizes how Humble schools and central office use the integrated features of Relatrix to communicate with and engage their community more effectively. From responding to rumors to publishing online newsletters to alerting parents about student absences, this fast growing suburban district in the Houston area connects with their community using one system where other districts require three, four or more services to handle the same workload.

“We are pleased to share the advantages Relatrix’ cloud-based software has afforded our district,” said Karen Collier, Executive Director of Public Information at Humble ISD. “While emergency notification is our top prior¬ity, we’re also excited about the added convenience of reaching our parents and community members easily and efficiently through the Internet, which they’re coming to expect in today’s fast-paced world,” she added.

“Humble ISD continues to prove that the Online Contact Center approach to communications serves the multiple, diverse audiences of a school district,” said Mark Franke, Relatrix President. “Using our software Humble’s communications held up to catastrophic weather conditions during Hurricane Ike. The same software shares accurate news and information about the district with community members, staff and parents on a daily basis through multiple modes of communications, including social media,” he added.

According to Dr. Guy Sconzo, Superintendent of Humble ISD, “The Insider helps Humble ISD meet multiple strategic goals. From improved attendance to greater community engagement with our schools, The Insider is a service we’ve come to rely upon. It provides us with multiple communications functions in one system; going well beyond basic notification. Overall, The Insider continues to be a sound investment for our district.”
