The Digital Vision program was initiated to provide grants to aspiring thought leaders in the areas of marketing and advertising. Econsultancy selected five winners from the scores of applications received. Grant winners include:
- Boris Grinkot, Director of Content and Education at Lean Startup Machine, whose project will provide marketers with heuristic tools to determine optimization and testing opportunities for their websites based on years of teaching, secondary research and consulting.
- Julia Nalven, a Market Research Analyst at Vizu, who will apply mathematical analysis to the optimization of online advertising campaigns. The project will show that rigorous data analysis will lead to will lead to the optimization strategy to maximize impact of a brand’s ad budget.
- Allison Aldridge-Saur, an active contributor to the high tech and web field for 12 years. As a member of the Chickasaw Nation, Allison's project will look at how "Tribe" has evolved to a social media marketing term, and how Native American tribal characteristics reveal substantive practices that build more fulfilling, stronger and highly committed online communities.
Other grants will be provided to projects that will look at testing for the 'tipping points' in social media, and a series of interviews/case studies with non-profits using social media.
Grant winners will join Econsultancy at South by Southwest on March 12 at an SWSX Party to provide an overview of their projects.
