Specifically, this Actos side effects lawsuit was filed in the Southern District Court in California on January 17, 2012 and was assigned a case number of 3:2012cv00135. The plaintiff, Mr. John Durel, claims in the lawsuit that he was diagnosed with bladder cancer as a result of using Actos to treat symptoms associated with type 2 diabetes. The lawsuit was filed against the manufacturer of Actos, Takeda Pharmaceuticals.
