PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (PRWEB) February 11, 2012
As a Cuban American living with a French-born husband in Florida, Ibis Lezcano, author of the new book “Love, Destiny, and Gardenias” (published by AuthorHouse) is no stranger to cultural intersections. Florida is an incredibly diverse state, as evidenced by MSNBC’s recent article “Romney's Coalition: How He Won Florida,” which points out that the Florida electorate is comprised of 14 percent Latinos, 36 percent seniors, 8 percent Cuban Americans and 40 percent wealthy. Drawing on the influence of this broad range of diverse people living around her, Lezczno delivers an unforgettable love story between two people from two countries and two different cultures who overcome all obstacles and difficulties to follow their destiny – a powerful love drawing them together.
“It will probably leave you with a tear in your eyes and smile on your face,” says Lezcano.
“Love, Destiny, and Gardenias” is a remarkable love story in the same vein as classic films like “An Affair to Remember” and “The Bridges of Madison County” – an instantly passionate love threatened when Laura’s and Antonio’s lives and responsibilities get in the way.
Their love survives tragedies, and separation, but somehow they still find each other. As Lezcano says, “Destiny always has the final word.”
