Our information receives on average 20 million hits a month from people with specific access requirements.

People with specific access requirements, including disabled people, older people and parents with young children and buggies, can now benefit from using the free “Inclusive Britain” iPhone app when on the move in their local community or when travelling around the UK.

“This is amazing!” exclaims actor David Proud, a confident “Inclusive London” app user, “The Inclusive Britain app looks like it is built upon the strengths of the “Inclusive London” app and, great, it is for use across the whole country. I can’t wait to use it.”

The “Inclusive Britain” app is fed by InclusiveBritain.com (http://www.directenquiries.com).

Having both a nationwide website and a linked iPhone app means it is now possible for people with specific access requirements to plan their journey before they set off using either http://www.inclusivebritain.com or http://www.directenquiries.com and then maintain a high level of confidence when they are out and about by using our free “Inclusive Britain” app.

“Our information receives on average 20 million hits a month from people with specific access requirements looking to make informed decisions about which businesses to visit. Our “Inclusive Britain” iPhone app now gives these people the freedom to move confidently around UK towns and cities,” says Grant Kennedy, CEO of Direct Enquiries Ltd.

The nationwide access register now known as http://www.inclusivebritain.com was first launched as http://www.directenquiries.com ten years ago. It has grown considerably in size and popularity and now displays access information for more than 300,000 businesses and this number is growing daily as members of the public are encouraged to add and review accessible locations and as businesses upgrade to an access risk audit.
